Hope your enjoying your Sunday wherever you are. I spend most of my Sundays being a couch potato while catching up on the latest TV shows and series. Since it is usually just me and my two housemates Zein and Zeus, I usually make an effort to bathe them in the morning, then go for the 9:00am service at NPC, head to my fruit vendor for some purchase then head home to make myself some a mean lunch and home made Juice.
This year, I made a decision to start eating more healthy homemade meals just because I want to be health and I do not want to throw away my hard-work at the gym. I have been asking my husband to send me healthy salad recipes, which I have tried a couple of times and right now I have perfected the art of making yummier health salads. Today I decided to do a repeat salad recipe that did not turn out very well the first time I prepared it just because I went all crazy with the apple cider vinegar and black pepper so the salad has an awkward taste.
Today I won! It turned out great. I swear its fit to be placed in a 5 star restaurant menu. I made a steak salad which took less than 30 minutes to make. I am actually munching on it right now as I write this blog post. This salad can go with anything and anyone and every one can actually enjoy it. Yes! Even kids who are not in favor of salads in their meals.
So without wasting much time, here is the recipe for this salad.
Seedless cucumber, sweet corn, sesame seed and oil, beef steak, tomatoes, black pepper, , lettuce, fresh orange juice and apple cider vinegar
1. Place the cubes of beef steak into a pot then boil for 1o minutes over high heat. Quick fry the tender cubes in sesame oil for 3 minutes
2. Squeeze one orange in a bowl
4. Boil the sweet corn for 10 minutes
5. Dice 1 whole tomato
3. Chop your cucumber in strips then mix together with sweet corn, lettuce and tomato. Add the orange juice, black pepper, sesame oil and
apple cider vinegar into the bowl then mixture the ingredients.
4. Garnish with sesame seeds and your healthy meal is ready.
Happy eating. Enjoy!
