“It is not the movement of the clock that produces the newness of life, it is the newness of the mind”.
We are all in the process of transforming to a better expression of ourselves – at least for me that is the case. I have began to form a habit of transforming that which I did not like about myself and my environment to something and someone I would like to be in the coming days. You see, if you continue being in a mindset that devours you from greatness then you end up denying yourself happiness and greatness.
We all have the power to change our mindset, but at times we end up being our own worst enemy. We critic ourselves so harshly and we allow other people to dictate how we should live our lives. We allow people to define who we are and often do not self examine ourselves to fathom how unique we are.
I say these words, because I have been there before, and I am still work in progress. Like any human-being, I have weaknesses that I have allowed to get the best of me and by giving them the power to affect my life, I have sometimes allowed these weaknesses to still my joy.
New life comes from a new mind and a new way of looking at your own life. I choose to be work in progress by renewing my mind every single day and by also filling my days with faith, hope, confidence and tenacity.
I am work in progress and I am enjoying the peace and happiness that it is bringing into my life.
Be in a mission to creating a better you by committing to yourself. Precede limitations and raise the bar.
